Bug#532049: readlink error in mkinitramfs-kpkg

Hi,

hits me too. This is what happened when I updated to 5.0.2:

  [smc@oberon][~]% LANG=C sudo aptitude -y safe-upgrade
  [sudo] password for smc:
  Reading package lists... Done
  Building dependency tree
  Reading state information... Done
  Reading extended state information
  Initializing package states... Done
The following partially installed packages will be configured:
    linux-image-2.6.26-2-ixp4xx
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B of archives. After unpacking 0B will be used.
  Setting up linux-image-2.6.26-2-ixp4xx (2.6.26-17) ...
  Running depmod.
  Finding valid ramdisk creators.
Using mkinitramfs-kpkg to build the ramdisk.
  readlink: missing operand
Try `readlink --help' for more information.
mkinitramfs-kpkg failed to create initrd image.
  Failed to create initrd image.
  dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.26-2-ixp4xx (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 128

(Okay, actually this is not what happened when updating to 5.0.2…
everything else installed fine, but linux-image-2.6.26-2-ixp4xx is
reproducibly stuck, as can be seen here.)

This is _very_ annoying as I don't know if I could successfully reboot
my NSLU2 at the moment…

Greetings,
