Bug#533885: [linux-image-2.6.30-1-amd64] Stops booting with message that it cannot load av7110/bootcode.bin
Package: linux-image-2.6.30-1-amd64
Version: 2.6.30-1
Severity: normal
I have a Technotrend Premium C-2300 Hybrid and wanted to boot the new linux
2.6.30 kernel. This boot process stops when it loads the modules. I think it
said "Could not load av7110/bootcode.bin" (only took a note with the name of
the firmware and not the rest. sry). It is really disturbing that the whole
boot process stops and not only the module stops working. I think this has to
be fixed when debian strips the firmware blobs.
