Bug#533780: snd-intel8x0 audio skips (regression in 2.6.30)
Package: linux-image-2.6.30-1-686
Version: 2.6.30-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Hi,
Linux 2.6.30 introduced a regression in the snd-intel8x0 driver which
causes audio to skip. It can be clearly heard in Spotify under Wine,
but audio also skips in Rhythmbox albeit not as often.
Upstream commit f708eb1d71dc8ffb184da9f0bc53461c6dc10653 fixes the
problem for me (and others).
