It's mostly intentional, I removed /etc/modprobe.d/pnp-hotplug because
I am tired of distributing this workaround for kernel bugs and I hear
that the aliases should be added to the kernel driver soon anyway.
If anybody still cares about floppies, then fix the kernel with
something like:
MODULE_ALIAS("pnp:dPNP0700");
