tags 491692 moreinfo unreproducible stop tried to reproduce your bug by using dash on a fresh Lenny install and couldn't reproduce. udev *always* landed on the initramfs. so it seems more that the box you run on was broken in some way. unless a better analysis comes up i'll close away. kind regards -- maks
