Without going into details (since I do not have the time to check again how it works), AFAIK uswsusp (which ships s2disk) does not unload/reload any module by default. This shoul mean that if you do not require any new module, the fact that the kernel has been upgraded should not cause any problem. Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca
