atl2 driver in 2.6.28

I have one eee pc 900, and it needs the ATL2 ethernet driver that has
been incorporated into 2.6.28, but it is not configured in the
debian-trunk kernel.

Could the kernel team enable the ATL2 driver in following 2.6.28 kernel images?
