When I resume after sleep, I get the following messages on consoles and in the kernel log:

Message from syslogd@naga at Wed Oct 17 02:55:24 2007 ...
naga kernel: Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason a0 on CPU 0.

Does this error still occur with more recent kernel versions?
I have not been seeing it more recently. I'm currently running a vanilla 2.6.27 and ath5k rather than madwifi. I was suspicious of madwifi, though I had seen the problems with the module unloaded too.
