Bug#471374: linux-image-2.6.22-3-486: external sata dies until sata_via is reloaded

i run an external HD case connected with eSata. sometimes when i disconnect the
case and reconnect it, i cannot mount the single partition on it any more. the
drive is definitely fine, and the case gives no problems with a certain other
OS. when i reload the sata_via module, it works again. the other sata drive
(WDC below) is mounted all the time and gives no problems when sata_via seems to die.
i use several different identical discs in the casing, with different file
systems (ext3, fat32) and the error is the same.
