Bug#509628: kernel 2.6.18 usb capabilities hang up after plugging in Nokia 6110 Navigator

Package: linux-image 2.6.18-6-686
Version: 2.6.18.dfsg.1-23etch1

After I plug in my Nokia 6110 Navigator into USB
the kernel log gets filled with the following:

Sometimes the modem in the cell phone works after plugging in, sometimes does
not but the bug in the kernel always shows there. If I issue lsusb command,
it hangs up (says nothing). This bug is not present in etchnhalf kernel.
