Package: linux-image-2.6.21-1-686
Version: 2.6.21-4

Hi,

after upgrading from linux 2.6.18 the kernel hangs during boot
for about 30 sec. on following lines before it proceeds with booting:

Jun 11 18:03:54 neo kernel: intel8x0_measure_ac97_clock: measured 59426 usecs
Jun 11 18:03:54 neo kernel: intel8x0: clocking to 48000

What's wrong?
I added a syslog snippet, HTH.

BTW: Why is the time always the same at early boot stages? It takes
some seconds to come till this point above, but the timestamp is the same as
at the beginning.

Don't hesitate to ask for further informaion, logs or
command output.

Kindly regards,

Erik
