Bug#504805: linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-686: panic: iret exception

Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-686
Version: 2.6.26-9
Severity: important

Hi,

Since switching to the Lenny xen kernel in dom0, I experienced several
crashes under xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-i386, version 3.2.1-2.

I guess I should bring this up with upstream, but there's no such
thing in this case as far as I know. If there's a better forum for
this report, please let me know.

Oct 28 01:40 (sorry for the improper serial support of Xen):

[418893.038775] Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
(XEN) Domain 0 crashed: rebooting machine in 5 seconds.

A possible cause for better output is that I stopped using the other
serial port (switched to an USB serial adapter instead). This also got
rid of the otherwise continuous "ttyS0: 8 input overrun(s)" kernel
messages. Unfortunately it didn't stop the crashes...

Regards,
Feri.
