Bug#504007: linux-image-2.6.26-1-686: Thinkpad T43 also does not boot

My laptop, a Thinkpad T43, has the exact same behavior: lots of dots and
then it hangs. So it is not specific to the Acer. I also use LILO,
and all of my partitions use XFS. The 2.6.25-2 kernel still works
fine.
