Bug#497185: Third party confirmation

I can confirm this same behavior with 2.6.26-9. And it's not just headphones, in my case it is the digital audio out into my sound system and is confirmed in all audio applications. My information is pretty much the same as the origional poster except the PCI device in question:

00:10.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 81cb
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 22
        Memory at fe024000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2
        Capabilities: [50] Message Signalled Interrupts: Mask+ 64bit+ Queue=0/0 Enable-
        Capabilities: [6c] HyperTransport: MSI Mapping Enable+ Fixed+
Kernel driver in use: HDA Intel
        Kernel modules: snd-hda-intel

System worked fine until just a couple of days ago, probably when I upgraded to 2.6.26-8 (but I can't be certain). Still a problem with -9.

Thanks,
Sean
