I just upgraded my sid to the 2.6.26 kernel and had to immediately revert back to 2.6.23 since I run my network from my debian-box using prism54 in master mode. After some searching found this on http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download:

So please provide prism54 again as a module and blacklist it. People needing prism54 for master mode will be able to find the blacklisting and revert back from p54 to prism54 without the need of compiling a custom kernel.
