Bug#499404: installation: During dist-upgrade from stable to lenny, etchnhalf kernel is removed.
Package: installation
Severity: important
During an apt-get dist-upgrade from stable to lenny -
Was told that the currently running linux-image was about to be removed, and asked to confirm the action.
I selected No, but linux-image was removed anyway.
I didn't notice this until after rebooting, and it had been the only installed kernel (I know, a rookie mistake), hence this report is being made from a different, but similarily configured system.
I believe the linux-image version was 2.6.24-etchnhalf.1-amd64.
