A regression has occured in binfmt_misc. sh_bang processing that involves a binfmt_misc binary
intepreter failed on 2.6.26. It has been working fine in Etch, and in kernels up to and including
2.6.25.

My usage is to have a chroot of binaries of a different archhitecture (ppc405 on x86 host) that
uses binfmt_misc to cause qemu to execute the ppc405 binaries. (The same thing occurs for armel
binaries as well).

The linux changelog contains some changes in this area to avoid a recursion problem. These changes
are probably the cause of this problems. There is a fix upstream which looks like it may
fix this problem:
