Comments/Problems:

The SCSI controller is a COMPAQ DDRS-39130W with two 9.1GB SCSI disks.

2.4 kernel correctly recognize and handle the SCSI controller, while
2.6 does not. Using 2.6.7 partman says that no devices are available.

I did try to modprobe all kernel modules from the scsi directory, but
the
hardware was never recognized, so I think that this controller isn't
supported in the newer kernels.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Giuseppe

DDRS-39130W is the name of ibm harddisks, no scsi controller.
