Not ready for prime time

In the last week or so, I have had the following problems with
linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 (now at 2.6.26-4):

On VirtualBox 1.6.4, the kernel crashes on boot with a "BUG: unable to handle
kernel" message.

On an Asus EEEPC 900 the kernel shuts down within a couple of minutes of
booting. There appear to be two separate causes here. The first was fixed for
a couple days, until an update in the XORG packages. Now the machine goes
into an orderly shut down when it attempts to start the xserver.

On the Asus EEEPC 701, with the home partition on an SD card slot, both the
2.6.25 and 26 kernels refuse to mount the SD card.

In all cases, the 2.6.24 kernel works, or at least boots the machine.
