Bug#456763: reproducible on 2.6.25-2-amd64

Hello,

I can reproduce this problem with high reliability when putting load on an encrypted filesystem using 'stress -d 10'. Then typing into 'Konsole' looks like that:

asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjkl;asdfj
kl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
kl;asdfjkl;aasdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkkkkkkkkl;asdffjkkkkl;asddddddddddddddd
dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;;;;;;;
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;asdfjkl;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
;;;;;;;;;;;;;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;asdfjkl;

The results with 'Gnome Terminal' were similar, however up to now I failed to see repeated keys on the text console.

The interesting thing is that the issue fails to reproduce when I'm stress'ing the local disk without devmapper/LUKS.

My lvm2 setup looks like that (I did that with the lenny installer, I have the impression that it's a bit too complicated...):

PV "/dev/sda5"
|
\_ VG "big_volume_group"
   |
   \_ LV "/dev/big_volume_group/big_log_vol"
      |
      \_ PV "/dev/dm-1"
         |
         \_ VG "crypto-VG"
            |
            +- LV "/dev/crypto-VG/swap_lv"  --  mounted swap
            |
            \- LV "/dev/crypto-VG/root_lv"  --  mounted /

Output of pvdisplay, vgdisplay and lvdisplay is attached.

I'm also attaching the system configuration info generated by reportbug. In case you need more info, just ask. I'm willing to investigate further.

Kind regards,

Thiemo Nagel
