I'm filing this as a bug on udev for the time being; I'm sure Marco will properly reassign this bug once you've provided the extra information. not a kernel bug, device ordering never guranteed from our side. can be set on the alsa side see index paramaters in alsa-base blacklist for example.. regards -- maks
