With 2.6.26-rc4 there is no sound at all. Also, when I run alsamixer,
all but three of the mixer channels have disappeared. I am only left
with 'master', 'pc speaker' and something else odd that I can't remember
the name of, that acted as a switch with options like 16384 and 32767.
So I guess this release of alsa is a bit broken!
