Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.17+2.6.18-rc6-0experimental.1snapshot.7391 As of version 2.6.18, respectively its rcX versions, snd-powermac does not work anymore on at least this PowerBook. It tells me to use snd-aoa: snd-powermac no longer handles any machines with a layout-id property in the device-tree, use snd-aoa. However, this module is not enabled or compiled into the kernel.
