Running 2.6.20-1-686 #1 SMP Tue Apr 24 21:52:11 UTC 2007 i686,
I plug in a palm Z22 (which produces /dev/pilot with a 2.6.18 kernel
on the same hardware), and /dev/pilot does not appear.

What I get, instead are these files in /dev
(this is a diff -U between ls -l /dev before and after I plugged
in the Palm device):

There are no /dev/ttyUSB* files. Is there a missing rule to
create them? Has the 2.6.20 kernel changed the way it handles
serial connections over USB?
