please enlighten us on the .config changes.
we are *not* carrying any fb specific patches.

The .config file is completely different because I don't need all the modules that Debian loads.
I attach it.
The only problem is that I get error messages at boot, after which all is normal:
FATAL: modprobe: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.25.3/modules.dep No such file
Although depmod is in fact in /lib/modules/2.6.25.3
Other people have apparently run into the same vga prob.:
