I also got this problem, so it would be nice if this problem could be
solved. I also got a few questions about this...
1.) Is the only option getting the sound rebuilding the kernel with
alsa-firmware?
2.) Will there be an easyer way after 2.6.4-1? Because 2.6.23 works just
fine and i think there will be others as well fighting with this problem.
