Bug#463606: This is indeed a Linux error message

Hello Bastian,

I did a quick grep of the Linux 2.6.24 source code, and found this message in:

  arch/x86/kernel/head_32.S

starting at line 581. I don't know whether this actually makes a
difference, but I thought you might want to know.

Out of curiosity, I also tried the -486 flavour. This also fails, but
the failure seems to occur somewhat later in the boot process. The
last messages I see are:

  CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1400MHz stepping 05
  Checking 'hlt' instruction...

At this point, Virtual PC pops up the following message:

An unrecoverable processor error has been encountered.
The virtual machine will reset now.

So that doesn't work either :-(
