Bug#463606: Linux 2.6.24 fails to boot on MS Virtual PC 2007

Not yet. I use the VM as a test system. I also have a test system that
is real hardware, which takes more work to set up.
As I expected, it boots correctly on real hardware. As Bastian
suggested, I think this may be just another bug in MS Virtual PC 2007.
That said, it would certainly be useful to me, if I could continue to
run Linux on MS VPC. So maybe either Linux could somehow work around
this issue, or (ha ha) someone might convince Microsoft to fix their
software?
