I am using an rt73 usb wireless network card, after using the echo disk >/sys/power/state and I try to bring up the network this is the output I received.
I did have the lapic kernel option appended.

those modules where not merged by that time
and yes it seems that many of those newly added wireless
drivers have suspend issues. rmmod them before as workaround.
