Bug#462687: rt73-modules-2.6.22-3-686: Rsyncing files from machine causes kernel panic.

Package: rt73-modules-2.6.22-3-686
Version: 2.6.22+1.0.3.6-cvs20071013-4
Severity: normal

Edimax wireless network interface generally works except
when I use rsync to copy large volumes of files off the
machine (for backup purposes) I get a kernel panic. Rsyncing
large volumes of files on to the machine doesn't seems to
work ok.

The following output was at bottom of screen:

RTUSBBulkRxComplete+0x14/0x40 [rt73] SS:ESP 0068:f7de7cb8
Kernel panic not syncing

plus traceback information that scrolled off.

I believe this bug arose in the last few weeks. The rsync backup
worked fine before that.
