Bug#455563: suspend is not reliable on my dell latitude d410

I pretty much endorse this bug's contents.

I am using hibernate 1.97-1 package, configured to use sysfs. (I have tried uswsusp on a few tests without success). Suspend worked reliably on etch's kernel, but has become unstable on my box with lenny. I have a mix of problems: *suspend sometimes freezes while writing the image to disk. In this case HD light stays on and the box is dead; I have to turn the power off. It seems to be more reliable if I am using less RAM; *sometimes it works ok, buf after a suspend, when I try to halt the box (shutdown -h), the system freezes and does not turn off. Filesystems are not unmounted since fsck complains on the next boot.

Please let me know which information to submit in this case.

Pedro
