Package: debian-installer Version: unstable daily-build 2005-02-21 Baed on symptoms, this seems to be same issue as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=107749 - (got same message in dmesg during debian install as below with redhat...) Workaround given in redhat bug report: remove adaptec card during install (lsi mpt is on-mobo). Version: 2.6.18-1 this report of ressource stealing is against an quite old linux image and thus most likely fixed as noted in the red hat bugzilla entry. if you can still reproduce with etch or lenny images please holler. happy new year -- maks
