ok, so i don't care about the old devfs way,
as that is clearly old fashioned.

the partitioned devices are not yet support by mdadm initramfs scripts,
so i'd leave that for later. same goes with the mdadm funky naming way
as it has not stabelized according to mdadm maintainer.
