After every check hda hangs for ~30 seconds.

I am using kernel linux-image-2.6.12-1-686-10.

When not using smartd there is no lost interrupt at any time.

System is with a 945G Chipset and uses ata_piix driver.

didn't see a second failure of piix on another box,
please reopen if bug persists with testing or unstable.
