I have a pc with sis controller and mainboard. always had trouble but with sarge everything was ok, when new udev was introduced a week ago, it purged hotplug and the whole usb sistem hang on boot, with devices such mouse and keyboard attached or even without any usb device
.. even ps2 port gets unusable . The only remedy was to deinstall udev and get back hotplug .
