Hi,

I don't have the time to test just now (I'll try to get it done in a
few days) but note that the following command stops the spam:
echo -n 100:80:70:65:0 > /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/trip_points
So it seems the thermal trip values are set to some insane values by
default on my board. I'll look into newer kernels and/or bios upgrades
in a few days, but it seems reasonable that the kernel should detect
negative values (which I'd been seeing before I executed that command)
and suppress the message in favor of a one-time "Your bios is broken"
message.

Thanks,

Bryan
