Bug#432182: System freezes with 2.6.21-6
Well, yesterday I have updated to 2.6.21-6 kernel image from APT (-amd64).
Before update, i have restarted with the new kernel. The first start
gets a blank screen (I supposed it's because the nvidia nonfree driver
isn't recompiled for the kernel).
When i have these problem corrected, i have started my system with
2.6.21-2 (2.6.21-6 apt-image).
I got some crashes:
First: On start, opening Swiftfox (an firefox x86 clone).
Second: Iceweasel (When it's loading some tabs).
Third: Iceweasel (Viewing a webpage).
Fourth: Lincity-ng (gaming without parameters).
Fifth: Icedove (Writing this bug-report from my gnome-desktop).
Six: On idle, moving the mouse around the screen.
I doesn't know if the bug it's for the linux-image or another package,
because the system log doesn't have anything who can help me.
In these update, i have downloaded linux-image-2.6.21-6-amd64, and
linux-libc6-dev packages (And kernel-headers). I'm starting the system
one or two times a day to verify apt-get updates. But, i can't work on
them.
If it's neccesary I can start the system with any debug parameters to
verify some data, if u need some information send me an email or reply
this bug.
Regards.
