Package: firmware-ipw3945
Version: 0.3
Severity: important

Hi,

I have been seeing repeated error messages like:

ipw3945: Microcode SW error detected. Restarting.

This appears to have been resolved upstream and indeed, for my own case,
I have replaced the /lib/firmware/ipw3945.ucode version 1.14.2
downloaded from http://bughost.org/ipw3945/ released in December last
year.

It would probably also be a good idea if the newer firmware could
somehow wend it's way into Etch... but I guess I should not hold my
breath!

Regards,
				Andrew McMillan.

Hi,

I've uploaded firmware-nonfree 0.5 which has now the most recent update
of ipw3945.ucode, hence closing this bug.

Regards,
Daniel
