Bug#411546: linux-image-2.6.18-4-686: NULL pointer exception when running hdparm -U

Package: linux-image-2.6.18-4-686
Version: 2.6.18.dfsg.1-10
Severity: normal

hoi :)

I just tried to unplug my CDROM drive on a Dell Latitude D600 laptop and
run 'hdparm -U 1 /dev/hdc' to unregister it from the kernel.

It seamed to work in that the kernel does not know about hdc any more,
but it printed a nice little backtrace:

BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000011c
