I also have a motherboard with Intel 965G integrated graphics (it's an Asus P5B-VM, for the record) and I think that getting this chipset work out of the box with Debian etch would be *very* important. I read that some people (among which Joerg Becker[1]) have successfully backported the intel-agp module from more recent Linux kernel versions.
