Package: linux-image-2.6.16-2-xen-686 Severity: wishlist Please build a version of the Xen kernel that includes PAE support. This is required to allow Xen to use more than 4gb of memory, and is only required for x86-32, not x86-64. To include this option, you simply need to set the CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G=y. This should be a separate kernel, as the non-PAE kernels will not boot under the PAE hypervisor, and vice-versa. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-rc4-knight-1 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968)

Source: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.18.dfsg.1-10 In the latest version of the linux-2.6 package, the Xen packages are built exclusively with PAE enabled. Cheers, -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world. vorlon@debian.org http://www.debian.org/
