Bug#407759: Should BLK_DEV_GENERIC be compiled into the kernel?



Dear Frans,

Will do.  

I will download and give it a shot within the next few days.  I have an
empty partition on my hard drive that I can use to install it in.
Irrespective of the result, I will submit an installation report.
