In order to consider this for etch, we'll need to identify what exactly fixed it. I don't see anything that looks like an obvious fix to me - but it would have to be pretty obvious for me to catch it :) I just asked for a pointer in the kernel.org bug report, but this should also be determinable by a person w/ the hardware using a git bisect: http://dannf.org/bloggf/tech/git-bisect.html -- dann frazier
