Package: udev
Version: 0.076-4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

I chanced from hotplug to udev. After this I wasn't able to mount a dvd.
The dmesg output was:
-----------------------------------
lp0: using parport0 (interrupt-driven).
hdc: packet command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hdc: packet command error: error=0x30 { LastFailedSense=0x03 }
ide: failed opcode was: unknown
ATAPI device hdc:
  Error: Medium error -- (Sense key=0x03)
    (reserved error code) -- (asc=0x57, ascq=0x00)
      The failed "Read Cd/Dvd Capacity" packet command was:
        "25 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 "
---------------------

When I reinstalled hotplug (and automatically removed udev) it worked
again.
