2.6.23 is not a good canditate:
* stable releases went mad
* random reboots in our lab
* cfs introduction, needs several fixes
* e1000e + iwlwifi old backports, needed several production fixes

2.6.22 release looks much stabler then 2.6.23,
so the current plan is to have 2.6.24 as fast as released
in unstble to base on that alternatively fallback is 2.6.22.
