I reverted the patch, no longer get the vmalloc errors, and module loading
seems to work:

indy-r4k:~# modprobe xfs
SGI XFS with ACLs, security attributes, realtime, large block/inode numbers, no debug enabled
SGI XFS Quota Management subsystem
indy-r4k:~#
