I've got four versions of linux-image installed on my box but I can't get the last one to be used.
here are the different version installed :
linux-image-2.6-686 2.6.22+10
linux-image-2.6.18-4-686 2.6.18.dfsg.1-12
linux-image-2.6.21-2-686 2.6.21-6
linux-image-2.6.22-2-686 2.6.22-4

the active one, (refering to the links in / path) is 2.6.18-4-686
and there's no way to force the use of 2.6.22, except modifying by hand the links

when trying dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-2.6.22-2-686, I always get the messages :
>Not updating initrd symbolic links since we are being updated/reinstalled
>(2.6.22-4 was configured last, according to dpkg)
>Not updating image symbolic links since we are being updated/reinstalled
>(2.6.22-4 was configured last, according to dpkg

and the --force option doesn't force the configuration.
