I'll try to reproduce this with the latest > kernel this weekend. in case it's helpful, there's supposed to be a 2.6.21 backport in backports.org, but there was a problem with the arm upload or something to that effect. i've spoken with the arm/bpo buildd admin (kmuto) and he's going to fix the problem soon. looking in upstream git, i can't be sure but i think this might be the fix: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=da6e1a32fb8d7539a27f699c8671f64d7fefd0cc or at least the BUG_ON is right about where i saw it (give or take a few lines). i don't really have the resources to try compilingpatched arm kernels, but if you do and want me to test something just let me know. sean
