Package: nautilus-cd-burner
Version: 2.10.2-1
Severity: normal

I have an AMD64 system with a Plextor PX-712A CD-RW and DVD-/+RW SATA
optical drive. I've engaged in a bit of kernel trickery to get this drive
working; I've written more about that if it helps:

  http://www.brettcsmith.org/wiki/wiki.cgi?OzyComputer/SATAOpticalDrive

I'm using Samsung DVD-RW 4.7GB Rerecordable single-sided discs.

I have been able to use nautilus-cd-burner to write to these DVDs once,
when they're blank. After I've written to them, however, I can't rewrite
them.

After I choose "Write to disc" I select all the same options I did when I
originally wrote the discs: using the same drive, at a 1x write speed.
nautilus-cd-burner creates an .iso image for the new disc without incident.
There are no prompts, and no errors show up in dmesg. After it finishes
that, it asks me: "The inserted disc was already written to. Do you want
to insert another disc, or erase this one?" I click the "Erase this disc"
button.

The progress dialog says "Preparing to write DVD" for a moment. Then it
brings up an error dialog: "There was an error when writing to the CD."
When I ask it for the detailed error message, it displays:

   WARNING: /dev/scd0 already carries isofs!
/dev/scd0: FEATURE 21h is not on, engaging DAO...
:-[ PERFORM OPC failed with SK=5h/ASC=2Ch/ACQ=00h]: Input/output error

An error message has shown up in dmesg as well:

   Assertion failed! qc->flags &
   ATA_QCFLAG_ACTIVE,drivers/scsi/libata-core.c,atapi_packet_task,line=3584

This error is repeated a second time.
