I'd strongly suggest you report this with the upstream kernel maintainers
for the driver [1]. They are in a much better position to help with such
a hardware/driver specific issue.
Please follow up to this report with the upstream bug number.

Maybe the upstream maintainers can pinpoint it easily. Otherwise you may
have to do a git-bisect [2].
